Java Cats is a coffee shop in Atlanta, Georgia. It is listed at 538 Decatur St. SE, Atlanta, GA 30312, which places it among the local businesses of Atlanta that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Atlanta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I canβt recommend this place enough, super cute and tasty revival of Java Cats Cafe! Very glad to see them back. I had a matcha latte which was a perfect balance of the matcha and sweetness, not too sweet unlike other big box coffee chains. The counter also has cat art on the wall for sale by a local artist, and photos of adoptable kitties on the counter! I will definitely be back. The building has ample parking as well which is appreciated in that side of town.

Java cats coffee counter is wonderful. The cat cafe had to close last year, but the coffee shop is a wonderful addition to the city and a great way to support cats! You can learn about adoptable cats from PAWS Atlanta and chat about cats with any of the baristas! Definitely worth a visit and a great way to support a small business. There is also a great patio outside where you can sip your coffee!

Iβm so happy to see the Java Cats crew return and in a wonderful new area right by Fetch dog park! Itβs a great location to grab a delicious drink (with your furry friend,) support the return of the cat cafe and relax all in one spot!! They have kitty/pup cups too!

The chocolate latte is great and this place has a large open space to sit. They just reopened so there are no cats yet. But you can drop by and buy a coffee to support. Good luck with the business.

This location is a little coffee counter! They're working on getting a location to have physical cats, but they have cat artwork and pictures of local adoptable cats.
